David Antonescu is a sophomore at Broad Run and enters his first season of football with excitement and determination. After discovering his interest in the game at the end of 8th grade and building his passion throughout freshman year, he committed to joining the program and now brings energy and focus to the wide receiver and cornerback positions.

David finds inspiration in Jayden Daniels, whose success despite size challenges fuels his own drive to prove himself. For David, football isn’t just about competition—it’s about discipline, grit, and the kind of challenge that makes him eager to wake up at 6 a.m. to work. Off the field, he enjoys video games and following the Washington Commanders, along with other NFL players and teams.

Looking ahead, David hopes to attend a strong college and continue his football journey at the next level. While his future path is still unfolding, he’s committed to giving his best in everything he does—knowing that effort, consistency, and perseverance will carry him far in both football and life.
